SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Several communities will celebrate Independence Day all over Utah. Find out where and when, listed below:
American Fork: American Fork Steel Days. Parade starts at 9:30 am on July 9th and will start on Main Street and end of 4th North. A concert with performances by Kansas will start at 6:00 pm and will have fireworks after the show. Tickets for the show can be bought at SmithTix and the City Administration Building. Admissions for children 9-16 is $10 and for adults $15. Free for children under the age of 8.
Beaver: Annual Butch Cassidy Festival on July 4. Visitors can enjoy live bands, a pie eating contest, Mountain Man Camp, Beaver Balls (meatballs) Cook-off, Hog Call contest, crafts and concession, Live Entertainment and more.
Blanding: Blanding 4th of July Festival on July 1 through July 4. Festival features a parade, fireworks, concerts, craft booths, games and more. No times given.
Boulder: Ice Cream Social and fireworks on July 2 to July 4. Fireworks over Lake Groton at 7:30 pm on July 2. Boulder Beach State Park admissions will be free.
Brian Head: Red, White and Blue Concerts and Fireworks on July 4. Firework display starts at 9:30 pm at Brian Head Town Park.
Brigham City: Fourth of July Celebration on July 4. Pioneer Park Eagles Breakfast from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Fireworks at dark.
Cedar City: Cedar City 4th of July Celebration on July 4. Parade down central Main Street at 9:30 am followed by activities in Main Street Park. Fireworks will start at 10:05 pm on the northwest corner of Cedar City Airport.
Centerville: July 4th Celebration from July 1 to July 2. Children’s Parade on July 1 at 6:30 pm. The parade will begin on 160 South, continuing on 200 East and turning onto 100 East. It will end at Founder’s Park. Fireworks on July 1 at 9:45pm in Founder’s Park. July 2 will feature a parade on Main Street at 9:00 am.
Clearfield: Fourth of July Celebration on July 2 and July 4. July 2 will feature a free movie at Fisher Parkat dusk and the Clearfield Community Theater’s musical production of “Hello Dolly!”. On July 4, the traditional Freedom 5k/2 mile walk will start at 6:45 am, a hometown parade at 9:30 am, and a pancake breakfast from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. A festival will begin at 6:00 pm and will have food vendors and performances by Clearfield Community Band and Groove Merchants.
Coalville: Henefer 4th of July on July 4. July 4 in Coalville will kick off with a 5K run at 7:00 am followed by breakfast at 8:00 am and closing at 10:00 am. The parade will start at 2:00 pm on Main Street and fireworks will start at 10:00 pm.
Delta: July 4th Celebration on July 4. The Demolition Derby will start at 6:00 pm and fireworks will follow after the show.
Duchesne: Once dark, the fireworks show will start between 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Wallace Park.
East Millcreek: July 4th Celebration on July 4. Breakfast at 7:00 am and the parade starts at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Junior High School.
Enoche: Enoch 4th of July on July 4. No times given, but there will be fireworks.
Escalante: July 4th Celebration on July 3 and July 4. Fireworks at dark on July 3. July 4 begins with a 5K run at 7:00 am at the high school followed by Fireman’s Breakfast at 7:30 am at Escalante Fire Hall.
Fillmore: 4th of July Celebration on July 2 to July 4. A Children’s Parade will take place on July 2 at 6:30 pm. On July 4, another parade will roll through Main Street. Fireworks will take place at Dusk.
Garden City: 4th of July Celebration. No times given.
Green River: July 4th Celebration on July 4. Bicycle Parade at 6:00 pm and the fireworks show will take place at Shooting Sports Park at 9:00 pm.
Gunnison: 4th of July Celebration on July 1 and July 2. Fireworks will start at 10:15 pm on July 1 at Gunnison High School Football Stadium and the parade will take place the next day at 9:00 am.
Hanna: July 4th Celebration.
Heber: Cams Old Fashioned 4th of July at Heber City Park on July 3. The event starts at noon and ends at 3:00 pm.
Holladay: 4th of July Festival on July 4. Fireworks at 10:10 pm at Pine Park.
Huntsville: July 4th Celebration on July 4. Parade at 10:00 am and fireworks at 10:00 pm, both will be held at Huntsville Town Park.
Hurricane: July 4th Celebration on July 4. Parade starts at 8:30 am and fireworks begin at 10:00 pm at Spilsbury Sports Complex.
Hyrum: Hyrum’s Star Spangled Week from July 2 to July 4. Parade at noon on E Main Street. The fireworks show is from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm at the soccer fields.
Kaysville: Lions Club Breakfast on July 4. Parade is at 11:00 am at DATC and fireworks begin at 10:00 pm at Davis High School.
Layton: Voices of Liberty and Layton Liberty Days from July 3 to July 4. Fireworks the night of July 4 begin at 10:00 pm at Edward A. Kenley Centennial Amphitheater. The parade will follow the same route it did last year by Layton Library and will begin at 10:30 am on July 3.
Lehi: Liberty Days Celebration and Lehi Fireworks on July 4. The fireworks show starts at 10:00 pm at Thanksgiving Point Electric Point.
Lindon: Liberty Days Celebration and Lehi Fireworks on July 4. The fireworks show starts at 10:00 pm at Thanksgiving Point Electric Point.
Logan: “Freedom Fire” Logan’s extravaganza on July 1. The fireworks show begins at 6:00 pm at USU Romney Stadium. Logan also has another event called Logan’s 4th of July Fireworks on July 4 and that fireworks show will start at dusk at city fields.
Magna: Lion’s Club Breakfast on July 4. Fireworks begin at dusk at Magna Copper field.
Manti: Manti July 4th Celebration on July 4. Fireworks begin at dusk at Manti High School.
Midway: Zermatt Zelebration on July 3. Fireworks begin at dark at Memorial Hill.
Milford- The excitement will be on the 4th. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and head down Main St. The fireworks will start at dusk in Pavilion Park.
Moab- The Independence Day Celebration will be July 4 at Swanny Park. The festivities will start at 4 p.m. Fireworks will start once dark.
Morgan- The celebration will be on July 4 in the community park. Fireworks will be at dusk.
Moroni- The activities will take place between July 2-4 at Moroni City Recreational Park. On the 2nd will be the BBQ Turkey Dinner from 6-8p.m. On July 4 the Mammoth Parade will start at 10 a.m. Throughout the day will be many fun-filled activities, and finally the fireworks will be at 10 p.m.
Murray- The Lion’s Club breakfast will be on July 4 between 6:30-10:30 a.m. Murray’s 2011 Fun Days wills also be on the 4th, the parade will start at 8:30 a.m. at Fashion Place Mall. The fireworks will start at 10 p.m. at Murray Park.
North Salt Lake- The Eaglewood fireworks will be on July 2 at Eaglewood Golf Course. They will take place at dark.
Oakley- It will be the 76th Annual Oakley Independence Day Parade & Celebration. Many events will take place in the celebration. The rodeo will be July 1 at 8:00 p.m., with fireworks after. The second Tough Enough to Wear Pink rodeo will be July 2 also at 8:00 p.m. with fireworks following. The parade will be on July 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Center St. and State Road 32. The Patriotic Program will follow the parade. At 8:00 p.m. will be the final rodeo with fireworks.
Ogden- Ogden’s Cherry Days will take place on July 4. The event will be held at WHS Stadium. The parade starting at 10 a.m. will start on Washington Blvd, and the fireworks will be at 10 p.m.
Park City- The Park City celebration will kick off on July 3 with the Canyons Celebration, the fireworks will start at 7:30 p.m. On the 4th will be Park City’s Traditional Independence Day Celebration. The parade will start at 11 a.m. on Main St, fireworks will be at dusk at Park City Mountain Resort.
Pleasant Grove- The city will hold a July 4 fireworks show that will run between 9:30 and 10:30.
Price- Family fun and fireworks will take place on July 4. The fireworks will start once dark hits at Carbon County Fair Grounds.
Provo- Provo’s America’s Freedom Festival weekend will kick off on July 1 at 5:00 p.m. with festival booths and events. July 2 is the awaited Brad Paisley and David Archuleta concert at 8 p.m at the Stadium of Fire. with fireworks following the show. On Monday July 4 is Provo’s parade which starts at 10:00 a.m. All locations (except the concert) will be at Center Street and University Avenue.
Richfield- Richfield’s celebration will be apart of Provo’s Freedom Festival.
Riverton- Riverton Town Days festival will take place July 1-2. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. on July 1. The fireworks will be at 10 p.m. July 2.
Roosevelt- The July 4 celebration will include live entertainment at 7 p.m. in Constitution Park. The entertainment will lead into the fireworks at dusk.
Salina- The city’s celebration will include a hot air balloon festival July 3 through the 4th.
Salt Lake City- All location’s fireworks will take place on July 4.
- Sugarhouse park’s fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.
- Jordan Park’s fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.
- Gallivan Plaza’s fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.
- The Bees game starts at 7:05 p.m. with fireworks following.
Sandy- The city’s 4th of July parade will start at 6 p.m. and the fireworks will be at 10 p.m. The Real Salt Lake game is at 6:30 p.m. with fireworks following.
Scofield- The Pleasant Valley Days celebration will take place July 1-2. The parade will start at 10 a.m. and the fireworks will take place at dusk.
South Salt Lake- The Freedom Festival will take place on July 2.
St. George- The celebration will be July 4. The parade will start at 8 a.m. and the fireworks will start at 10 p.m.
Tooele- Tooelle’s Bit’n Spur 4th of July Rodeo will be July 3-4.
Torrey- The Torrey Apple Days will take place July 1-2. The parade will be in the afternoon.
Vernal- The parade will take place July 4. Contact (435) 789-1352 for more information.
West Valley City- Copper Cup Classic & Fireworks will take place on July 3. Race Night & Fireworks at Rocky Mountain Raceway will be July 2. The race will start at 4 p.m. and the fireworks at 10 p.m.
Woodruff- The Woodruff Days Celebration will be happening on July 4. No information on times or location have been yet given out.
