Homewood shooting victim identified

Pittsburgh police have identified a man who was shot after threatening a Homewood family with a gun Friday.
Timmothy Bazemore, 20, of Homewood, is facing multiple charges today following an incident where he threatened to shoot an unidentified man and several of his family members at his mother's home in the 1400 block of North Murtland Avenue.

The man said he called police on Mr. Bazemore earlier in the day to report that he was loitering in a lot maintained by the family. He told police that he shot Mr. Bazemore after he returned to the home with a gun later in the day.

Police found Mr. Bazemore with multiple gunshot wounds in the 6900 block of Mount Vernon Avenue and transported him to UPMC Presbyterian. He was taken into surgery in critical condition.
Mr. Bazemore faces weapons charges, four counts of aggravated assault, loitering and prowling, terroristic threats, and simple assault. Additional charges may be pending.
