EMINGTON, Ill. - Livingston County Sheriff Martin Meredith says five people killed in the small eastern Illinois town of Emington died in a murder suicide.
Meredith wouldn't identify the shooter, saying the investigation is ongoing.
The dead include a 29-year-old woman, a 30-year-old man, two elementary school-age children and a 10-month-old baby.
Emington is a town of about 100 people about 80 miles southwest of Chicago.

CBS Station WBBM reports thet police received a call of shots fired at 2:36 p.m. Friday and found five victims dead at the scene. Deb Delany, Emington's secretary and treasurer, said the dead included a man and a woman and three children. Identities were not released.
Sources said the two adults living in the home had an argument in the front yard of the house. Moments later, neighbors heard five gunshots.
Some of the bodies were found outside.
No suspect is being sought, authorities said.
