We posted numbers 6 thru 10 yesterday, so if you missed it, make sure to click the link below to see it! Let's get started with #5, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. Redfoo and Sky Blu did a remake of the movie 28 Days Later, waking up in an empty city, and they realize that they've started a shuffling epidemic!
Our #4 pick is Britney Spears' Till The World Ends, which is also about the end of the world. Brit hosts an epic underground dance party with the lucky few survivors of the Armageddon, and this def reminds us of the old Brit who would find any reason to dance.
Last Friday Night (TGIF) by Katy Perry is our #3 pick. Katy introduced her new alter ego Kathy Beth Terry, who hosted a huge house party that included guests like Darren Criss, Rebecca Black, and even Kenny G!
The number 2 pick is We Found Love by Rihanna. Like with most of her recent work, this vid was met with much controversy, even getting banned in certain countries for its theme. Rihanna played the part of a woman in a destructive relationship of drugs and abuse, finally making the decision to leave him in the end.
And our number one pick for best video of 2011 is....Born This Way by Lady Gaga. I mean, who else could get away with featuring different versions of her own head, cheek and shoulder implants, and her own new race of humans. Born This Way was an easy choice for us not only because of the production value, but because of its powerful message of love and equality it sends to everyone.
Those are ClevverMusic's top 5 picks for best music videos of the year. Let us know if you agree with our picks, or if you'd do it in a different order! Thanks so much for subbing our channel, and we wish you all a happy and safe holiday.
