Remember that guy who allegedly went to Venice, Calif., on New Year's Day to pay Lindsay Lohan a visit, but then wouldn't leave when she told him to get off her property?
Well, the 64-year-old who wanted to speak to LiLo was arrested and held on $1,000 bail. But now E! News can confirm that Lonnie Short has been convicted of trespassing and slapped with a restraining order.
According to Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan, Short pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of trespassing Wednesday afternoon and was sentenced to two years' probation and time already served (eight days, to be exact) in county jail.
But that's not all.
Short was also hit with a restraining order, which prohibits him from contacting Lohan or going within 100 yards of her or her home until 2014, which goes along with a 24 months' summary probation he was placed on.
As for the second trespassing count he was originally slapped with, that was dismissed.
Maybe he just wanted to give the actress kudos on her praiseworthy probation report? Or that Playboy spread? But if so, those warm wishes will have to wait for at least another couple years.
