New details on Madonna's album! Hi guys! I'm Bridget Daly for ClevverMusic. Well guys, the new Madonna album is officially a go! Madge spoke with reporters over the weekend regarding her upcoming 12th studio album while at the Venice Film Festival. She said, "I've started a little bit of work in the studio, and then when I go back to New York, till the end of the year I'll be in the recording studio." While Madonna didn't exactly elaborate on what fans can expect from the new stuff, she did say it would be quote "more good music," so you can take that for what it is.
She also dished on the first single, saying it would be coming in February or March, with the full album dropping in Spring 2012. Keep in mind this is the first FULL album of new material since 2008's Hard Candy. Of course, Celebration came out in 2009, but was full of mainly older hits, and was actually just an obligation to her old label Warner Brothers. Madge is now under Live Nation, and we're hoping they're already talking about another world tour to go along with this new album!
