Derek Jeter joins the 3,000 hit club

Derek Jeter of the Yankees picked up the 3,000th hit of his career in dramatic fashion on Saturday. Facing Tampa Bay's David Price in the bottom of the third, Jeter slammed a home run. (July 9)
