That’s right, according to Candy’sDirt.com, the 6-bed, 8-bath former home of the late cosmetics empress Mary Kay Ash is back on the market. Listed for $3.3 million (down from its 2007 asking price of $5.7 million), the Dallas, Texas, home is perfectly outfitted for royalty. The home’s floorplan contains 11,874 square feet of beautiful details including carved wood moldings, beveled glass windows, wall murals and 40′ ceilings. Teakwood and marble flooring and pink-quartz fixtures complete the royal amenities. The wood-paneled living room looks out on the stately swimming pool, while the remainder of the just-over-one-acre lot is intricately landscaped with stately fountains, lawns, and terraces.
Mary Kay Ash founded her self-named cosmetics empire in 1963, with a $5,000 investment. Since then, Mary Kay Cosmetics has grown to become a multi-billion dollar company with a global presence. Ash also became a mentor to women in the business world, writing three books and receiving various honors for her efforts.
