Ivanka Trump gives birth to a baby girl

Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner are now the proud parents of a baby girl.

Trump announced on her official Twitter page that she gave birth to her daughter on Sunday, July 17.

"This morning @jaredkushner and I welcomed a beautiful and healthy little baby girl into the world," she wrote. "We feel incredibly grateful & blessed. Thank you all for your support and well wishes!" The baby's name has not been revealed.

Ivanka Trump, 29, married Jared Kushner, 30, in October 2009. Kushner is the owner of the New York Observer and the son of Charles Kushner, a real estate developer like Donald Trump.

Trump was seen sporting a baby bump at the "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" on Thursday. See photos of Trump and her husband here.

She revealed back in May in an interview with Harper's Bazaar that she was expecting a daughter and the baby's due date was July 14. However, when the day came, Trump said she knew her child was going to be born late.

"Heading to work (on my due date!) Instinct tells me that this little girl is not planning on making her debut today. We'll see," she wrote on July 14.

Trump told Harper's Bazaar she had been reading up on parenting books in preparation for her child's birth. "I'm already on what I should be doing when she is three and when I should introduce new languages," she told the magazine.

"I'd love to have three or four kids," she told the magazine. "But my mom always says, 'Speak to me after you have your first.'"

Ivanka Trump first announced her pregnancy in January. "I have been wanting to share some amazing news with you all for some time & I'm pregnant!" Ivanka Trump wrote on her Twitter page. "Jared and I couldn't be more excited.

Ivanka Trump is a model who has been a boardroom advisor on "The Apprentice" and boasts her own hotel, handbag and shoe lines and a jewelry collection.

This is the third grandchild for Donald Trump. He first became a grandfather when son Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa Haydon, welcomed daughter Kai Madison in 2007. The couple also has a two-year-old son, named Donald Trump III.
